How often should I treat my dog for ticks in Sri Lanka?
All year round. Spot-on treatments such as TixFree are usually applied monthly, while Bravecto chews protect for up to 12 weeks and NexGard chews for a month. Always follow the product label.
Which size should I buy?
Tick and flea treatments are dosed by body weight. Weigh your pet and choose the pack that matches their weight range. Never split a large-dog dose between smaller pets, and never use a dog-only product on a cat.
Are tick treatments safe for puppies and kittens?
Each product has a minimum age and weight on its label. Check it before use, and ask your vet if your pet is very young, pregnant or unwell.
